GreenMuseumHub: Focus on sustainability
Welcome to GreenMuseumHub, an innovative project dedicated to promoting sustainability in museums and cultural heritage sites. In a time of global challenges such as climate change, social injustices and economic crises, GreenMuseumHub is committed to sustainable practices and education to shape a sustainable world.
About the project
GreenMuseumHub connects museums and cultural heritage sites from Germany, Egypt and Tunisia to work together on sustainable solutions. Through a professional international network, we promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise in the areas of ecological, social and economic sustainability.
Our partners
Our network consists of three leading universities and numerous non-university partners, including museums, non-governmental organisations and educational institutions. Together, we develop practice-oriented teaching/learning formats, organise internships and supervise master's theses in order to empower future generations to think and act sustainably.
GreenMuseumCamps
Every year, we organise the GreenMuseumCamps, which take place alternately in Germany, Egypt and Tunisia. These events offer workshops, lectures and innovative formats to promote dialogue between students, experts and the public.
