Amgad Fouda
Project Coordinator Egypt
He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, had his Pre-Master
program from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, and had a dual MA in Museum
Studies from both Helwan University and Juilius-Maximillians-Universität, Würzburg.
Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate.
Works at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, NMEC. And have been working
with both Helwan University and Juilius-Maximillians-Universität on various projects. One
of them is a coordinator on the Egyptian side of the DAAD Ta'ziz project, "Green Museum
Hub.” Had participated in several art exhibitions.
Boutheyna Brahmi
Porject Coordinator Tunisia
in the ancient period in the region of the Oued Maarouf-Djebel Bargou Valley in Tunisia.
She has a Master's degree in Ancient Archaeology in which she prepared a report on the occupation of a peregrine city in Tunisia, and a Professional Master's degree in Conservation and Restoration of Coin Collections. The two Masters supported by the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Humanities at La Manouba. She is a member of the Economics, Territory and Heritage Landscapes Research Laboratory, and a member of a Tunisian-Spanish cooperation project carrying out archaeological excavations in Tunisia.
She is also coordinator of the Tunisian part of the GREEN MUSEUM HUB project.
Elisabeth Greifenstein has been coordinating DAAD projects for the University of Würzburg since 2015. She studied Egyptology, Pre- and Protohistoric Archaeology and Classical Archaeology in Würzburg. She then worked as a research assistant for the German Archaeological Institute, Cairo Department, from 2012 to 2015 and gained her first experience of Egypt. She then used this experience to establish and maintain a cooperation between Helwan University Cairo and JMU Würzburg. Her focus in museological teaching is on colonial heritage, participation and the non-discriminatory museum. Professionally, she has extensive knowledge in project management, communication, intercultural interaction and networking. The DAAD projects bring people together and allow them to enter into dialogue. This is particularly close to her heart.

Prof. Aly Omar Aly Abdalla
Helwan University (HU), Cairo
Prof. Aly Omar Aly Abdalla had his B.Sc. from the Higher Institute of Tourism's Tourist Guidance Department in 1973 and, by 1983, his Ph.D. in Archaeological Studies from Liverpool University,UK.
He held several positions, such as lecturer at the guidance department of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management at Helwan University, professor of Egyptology at the guidance department of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management at Helwan University, dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management at Helwan University, vice president for postgraduate studies and
research at Helwan University, professor in the Tourism Guidance Department, and head of the tourism and hospitality sector at the supreme council of universities. I am also currently the coordinator of the Egyptian side for the joint master's degree on "museum studies" between Helwan University Egypt and the University of Würzburg, Germany. (2015- till now).
Furthermore, he is a member of the Board of Directors at the Egyptian Museum (1998–2005), a member of the Board of the Graeco-Roman Museum in Alexandria (1994–1996), and a member of the Board of the Museum of Egyptian Civilization. (2019–till now), Member of the Board of the
Grand Egyptian Museum. (2017–2019), Member of the Board of the Supreme Council of Antiquities. (2017–2019), and Head of the Higher Scenario Committee of Museums in Egypt. (2018, till now).
Prof. Dr. Guido Fackler
Julius-Maximilians-Universität (JMU), Würzburg
Guido Fackler, Prof Dr, is Professor of Museology at the University of Würzburg. He studied folklore, musicology and ethnology in Freiburg. He then completed a traineeship at the Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe and held various positions as a research assistant in the field of European ethnology/ethnology.
positions in European ethnology/ethnology at the universities of Regensburg and Würzburg, where he set up the museology department from 2010. His research focuses on exhibitions (physical-digital), museology, museums, audience research, landscape/space, canalisation/artificial waterways (habilitation 2011), music in the Nazi camp system (doctorate 2000).
Prof. Lamia Ben Abid
Université de la Manouba (UM), Tunis
Lamia Ben Abid is Professor of Ancient History and Archaeology at the Université de la Manouba and Director of the Régions et ressources patrimoniales en Tunisie : approche interdisciplinaire (Regions and Heritage Resources in Tunisia: an interdisciplinary approach) research laboratory. She holds a doctorate from the Université de Tunis (2003) on the cult of Baal Hammon in the province of Africa between tradition and Romanisation (2nd century BC- 2nd century AD) and a Habilitation from the University (2016) on polytheistic religions in ancient Africa. Her research focuses on the ancient history of North Africa, pagan cults and beliefs in ancient Africa, and the iconography of religious and funerary reliefs. She is coordinator and member of several international research projects in the fields of archaeology and university training in the humanities (Tempus INFOBC 2013 project: Innovation in Training for Cultural Heritage / Erasmus Raqmyat project: Digital strategies for doctoral training in the humanities and social sciences in Tunisia).

Sustainability Agent
Luisa Wesch studied Museum Studies, Sociomuseology, European Ethnology and Ancient World in Würzburg and Lisbon. She has been editor of the online portal nachaltige-ausstellungen.de since 2022 and researches sustainable museum work.
Johanna Rieger
Exhibition Coordinator
Johanna Rieger studied Museology and Ancient World as well as Museum and Ancient Cultures at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität in Würzburg. During her studies, she supervised several student exhibition projects, placing great emphasis on sustainable concepts and realisation. She researches museum work that is critical of discrimination and racism and is actively involved in post-colonial work in the city of Würzburg.
